I would say I struggled more with world history than American history. I grew up in a very small town and foreign culture and influence weren’t much of a consideration in most aspects of my life – so the sociopolitical impact of other nations’ histories on the American way of life wasn’t something I viewed as terribly important. I’m trying to get better with this, but it’s still coming pretty slowly. This section’s probably going to take a while to build, but I’d certainly welcome some suggested reading!
